Complete the pre-requirements
Before applying to become an online notary, make sure you do the following:
- Currently possess active traditional notary public commission in Florida.
- Be a legal resident of Florida
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have no felony convictions, unless civil rights have been restored
Application Process
- Complete a 2 hour remote online notarization training course (RON) (Costs $20- $170)
- After you complete the course, you'll receive a proof of completion.
- After the course do the following:
- Get a $25,000 surety bond
- Get a $25,000 E&O insurance policy
