Connect NotaryLive to Claude

Add NotaryLive to Claude once, and Claude can turn any document you write together into an online notarization order. Setup takes about 30 seconds, and you don't need a NotaryLive account to connect.

Set it up in 4 steps

1Open Claude's connector settings

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, or click here to open that page directly.

2Add a custom connector

Click Add custom connector at the bottom of the list. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organization may need to add it for everyone first.

3Enter the NotaryLive MCP server URL

Name the connector NotaryLive and paste this URL, then click Add:

4Ask Claude to notarize your document

In any chat, make sure NotaryLive is turned on in the tools menu, then ask something like:

Use NotaryLive to get this document notarized online. I'm the signer.

Claude sends NotaryLive the document and each signer's name and email address, and gives you a link to open in your own browser.

What happens after Claude creates the order

  1. Review the order. Open the link from Claude to check the document and signers.
  2. Verify your identity and pay. NotaryLive never takes payment inside Claude.
  3. Meet a notary by video. A commissioned notary watches you sign and notarizes the document electronically.

Good to know

  • You only need to add the connector once per Claude account.
  • NotaryLive only receives what Claude sends when you ask it to create an order: the document, its title, any notes for the notary, and each signer's name and email address.
  • A notary does not review the document's content or give legal advice. For important documents, consider having an attorney review what Claude wrote.
